Governance

PERCH GOVERNACE STRUCTURE
The PERCH governance structure is made up of four bodies.

General Assembly
Role: it is responsible for laying out the strategic planning of the Joint Action (JA) in adherence to the GA and CA.
Decision making: 1 vote per Beneficiary. Decision will be taken by majority.
Composition: at least 1 representative per each participating institution.
Meeting frequency: annually unless a need for an additional face-to-face meeting arises.

Steering Committee
Role: it is the delegate body of the General Assembly for day-to-day scientific and technical coordination.
Decision making: 1 vote per each work package (WP). Decision will be taken by majority.
Meeting frequency: monthly virtual meeting (last Wednesday of each month); face-to-face meeting (twice a year).
Composition: JA Coordinator, at least one representative of each WP.

Scientific Advisory Board
Role: it is an advisory body responsible for strengthening the scientific quality of the work and optimal policy relevance.
Decision Making: the Scientific Advisory Board is not a decision-making body.
Meetings frequency: Scientific Advisory Board members will meet (face-to-face) Steering Committee members during the General Assemblies and possibly in specific meetings both virtual orface to face.
Composition:
Paul Bloem, LeadHPV vaccine impact area -WHO-Geneva;Rui Medeiros, President, Association of European Cancer Leagues (ECL);
Rui Medeiros, President, Association of European Cancer Leagues (ECL);
Siff Nielsen, Demand and Acceptance expert in the Immunization Programme -WHO Regional Office for the Europe;
Roberta Pastore, Division of Country Health Programmes, Vaccine-preventable Diseases and Immunization (VPI), WHO Regional Office for the Europe -WHO Regional Office for the Europe;
Walter Ricciardi, President of Mission Board for Cancer.

Governmental Advisory Board
Role: it is an advisory body responsible for providing feedback on key findings and policy guidance on the progress and achievements of the JA by contributing to the development of an integration and sustainability plan.
Decision Making: the Governmental Advisory Boardis not a decision-making body.
Meetings frequency: Governmental Advisory Board members will meet (virtually or face-to-face) with Steering Board members approximately three times during the JA period.Composition:a representative from each participating country.
